Dear Ian and Wendy We would like to thank you for all your help and support in arranging a wonderful send off for Peter. Peter had special requests such as being transported to the crem on the back of a 7.5 ton truck with a convoy of trucks. Everything went fabulously with your help and the convoy of 65 trucks added to a memorable send off. You were so understanding towards our distress and the calls before and after the funeral to check on our wellbeing was such a special touch. We could recommend Ian Wildes funeral directors enough. The family of Mr Cowin (wife Margaret and son and daughter, David and Alison) would like to thank, most sincerely, all the team at Wilde’s funerals in particular Ian, Wendy and Lucy. From our initial phone call with Ian we knew we were in excellent hands. Nothing was too much trouble for Lucy and we were always made to feel more than welcome when we visited your lovely premises and to see Trevor at peace and to know that he had been treated with such kindness and respect was overwhelming. We appreciated Mr Cowin being brought back to the farm he loved so much for an emotional send off by friends in the farmyard. The funeral service at Charnock Richard Crematorium was beautiful and was indeed a celebration of his life and his love of farming kindly led by Dave Scholes (Happy Valley Church). His life was one of value which we feel has been truly recognised and our appreciation goes out to all. Thank you again for a truly professional and caring service from beginning to end.
