I want to say a huge thank-you to all the team at Ian Wildes for enabling my family to provide a memorable clebration of my mum's life. My mum was born, raised and lived all her life in Bamber Bridge, apart from her last 18 months, when she moved into a home in Barrow. She had told the family that she wanted us to use Ian Wilde when her time came. Her family are spread all over the country and we worried about how to organise her funeral. Ian Wilde took all that worry away and their professionalism was fantastic throughout in organising and guiding us through the whole process. Their communication was excellent, including using Zoom meetings to bring us all together to make the important decisions. Their impeccable attention to detail on the day of the service allowed us the time and space to properly reflect on, and celebrate, our mum's life. The celebrant who led the service helped us deliver a fitting tribute to mum and struck just the right tone. Thank you. I'm so glad that we were able to use a local funeral director with such high professional standards.

When my husband died Wilde’s came out within a couple of hours, despite it being a Bank Holiday weekend and treated him with great respect and dignity. We had a meeting at their beautifully appointed funeral home with Wendy who went through all the arrangements with us. Nothing was too much trouble, we met Ian himself and Kirsty they discussed our wishes and concerns, we were reassured by their professionalism. Everything was arranged for us, they liaised with our GP to obtain the necessary paperwork, sorted the LEP obituary and the Orders of Service. The celebrant recommended, Andrew, was perfect for our family. It was the small details that mattered such as answering the phone immediately when we had questions and knowing they would have the answers. We as a family would highly recommend Ian Wilde funerals.
