John Eric Winder of Lostock Hall,
Preston passed away on Friday 19th April,
surrounded by his family and close friends, following a short illness.
It is with great sadness that John’s family share the news of his passing.
John was brought up in Garstang, together with his sister,
Gwen and two brothers, Merv and Dave.
Son of Doug and Alice and father to Paul, Lee and Ben
and grandfather to 8 grandchildren.
John was a talented musician, artist, keen gardener
and an all round multi-skilled man.
He will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him,
but apart from enjoying the company of friends and family,
he loved going fishing and having quiet times for his own thoughts
and reflections and enjoying the countryside.
John has requested no flowers,
but donations to St. Catherine’s Hospice
